Supercooled ethanol extraction

Ethanol is one of the most efficient organic solvent-extraction methods used for extracting oil from raw hemp material. Ethanol is passed over the plant material in order to dissolve the active compounds in the hemp plant. Because ethanol is what is called a “polar” solvent, it will be more hydrotropic, meaning it will want to bind to the water soluble components of the plant. Advanced supercritical fluid extraction

The supercritical CO2 extraction process is one of the cleanest, safest, and most sophisticated methods of extracting natural products. It is also known as a “tunable solvent” making it extremely versatile for creating a multitude of end products by controlling temperature and pressure. The CO2 supercritical extraction process creates phase changes in carbon dioxide utilizing temperature and pressure.
